Madasari Beach in Cimerak Sub-District, Pangandaran

It never ends when discussing the options of beaches in Pangandaran Regency. For those visiting Cimerak Sub-District, though, they must never miss the chance to visit Madasari Beach. The location is in Pantai Wisata Street and it belongs to Masawah Village. Even though it is not as popular as Batu Hiu or White Sand Beach, Madasari has a similar beauty to those beaches. The other name is Bulben or Bulak Benda and it is famous for its unspoiled nature. It is true the location is a little bit far from Pangandaran City. Despite the fact, tourists have no doubt in visiting it sometimes.

The Nuance
Due to its secluded location, Madasari Beach features a peaceful nuance. Only the sound of the waves is heard on the site. The wind blows strongly and feels so warm! The color of the sand is brown and it has a soft texture, as well. During the low tide, tourists might see some scallops scattered all over the sand. Not to mention those unique tiny objects also become an interesting background for photography. Another important feature is the presence of several big coral reefs with some trees and bushes on them.

The most famous one is Batu Leuit which is known as the home of wild creatures called Cangehgar (wild rooster). Only lucky people may encounter them, though. Those animals usually appear during the good weather in summer, so tourists should come at the right time if they want to meet them.

Madasari is a simple and peaceful beach. No wonder, many people take advantage of such atmosphere to relax and get away from their busy daily routines. The continuous splash of the waves creates a soothing ambiance as well on the site. In the afternoon, tourists might see some birds visiting the beach as they are going to sleep in the midst of the coral reefs. Do not forget, the sunset also looks appealing there!

How to Get There
From Pangandaran City, a trip to Cimerak Sub-District may take about 1-2 hours depending on the traffic and type of vehicle to use. The distance is approximately 40.4 km and tourists can use Raya Cijulang Street to reach the destination. From Cimerak, the next destination is Masawah Village where Madasari Beach is located.
